3. What data do we collect? As part of our B2B activities and the management of our network of business centers, we ensure that we collect only the data that is strictly necessary. The data in question is as follows:

  • Professional identification information: Last name, first name, job title, company name.

  • Contact information: Email address (preferably a work email), landline and/or mobile phone number, and the company’s mailing address.

  • Data related to your inquiries: Inquiry history, correspondence with our sales teams.

  • Browsing data (cookies): Data related to your activity on our website and your interactions with our marketing campaigns.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to process your request for a quote or service.

4. When do we collect your data? We collect your data directly from you when:

  • You fill out a quote request or contact form on our website.

  • You sign a contract (direct debit, office rental, coworking).

  • Sign up for our newsletter or download a resource (e.g., a white paper).

  • You interact with our ads or our social media pages (LinkedIn, etc.).

5. Why do we use your data, and on what legal basis?
Every instance of personal data processing carried out by BURO Club Développement serves a specific purpose and is based on a legal basis defined by applicable regulations. Data retention periods are strictly limited to the needs of these purposes or to applicable legal obligations.

6. What happens to your data after the retention period expires
Once the retention periods listed above have expired, your personal data will be:

  • Or stored temporarily, with access strictly restricted and limited to authorized departments (Finance, Legal), solely for the purpose of complying with our legal and tax obligations or for the management of any potential litigation.

7. Who has access to your data?
Your personal data is primarily processed by internal teams at BURO Club Développement who need to know it in order to perform their duties (sales department, marketing department, IT support, accounting department).

However, in order to achieve the stated purposes, we may need to share your data with external third parties, subject to strict controls:

  • Our technical service providers: Companies we engage for specific technical services (website hosting, CRM tools, automation tools, and marketing email delivery). These service providers act solely on our instructions and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

  • Our network of affiliated and franchised business centers: The BURO Club business centers to which you should direct your request for space or services.

  • Our Partner Business Centers (Brokerage Services): When your request concerns a geographic area or a specific need that our own network cannot cover, we may forward your identification and contact information to independent partner business centers. In this context, BURO Club Développement acts as a broker. The partner center then becomes solely responsible for processing the data we transfer to it in order to provide you with a commercial offer.

  • Government agencies: If required by law, we may disclose data to address claims filed against BURO Club Développement and to comply with administrative and legal proceedings.

8. Is your data transferred outside the European Union?
BURO Club Développement prioritizes hosting and processing your data within the European Union.

However, data transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA) may occur in two specific situations:

  • Request for international services: If your request is directed to one of our business centers (either part of our own network or a partner network) located outside the EU. In this case, your contact information is transmitted to that center securely and solely for the purpose of fulfilling your local request. This transfer is based on the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request.

  • Use of digital and marketing tools: For certain statistical analysis, automation, or social media communication tools, data may be transferred to technology providers located outside the EEA (particularly in the United States).

To ensure a level of protection equivalent to that required by the GDPR, these transfers are strictly governed by one of the following legal mechanisms:

  • The transfer is made to a country recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection.

  • The signing of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission with the service provider or partner center, supplemented by appropriate technical security measures.

Updates to the Privacy Policy This policy may be amended at any time, particularly to reflect changes in laws or regulations or the implementation of new digital tools (such as updates to our CRM management platforms).
