Mail at your own pace: forwarding or scanning, depending on whether you prefer to receive your mail or read it remotely. An address near the courthouse complex: your articles of incorporation, quotes, and invoices list the address of the square where the judicial court and the economic activities court are located. Why have a business address in Limoges?

Registering a company in Limoges, the prefecture of Haute-Vienne

With a population of nearly 130,000 (INSEE, 2023), Limoges is the central city of Limoges Métropole, an urban community comprising 20 municipalities and approximately 210,000 residents. The city is home to the headquarters of the Legrand Group, the University Hospital (CHU)—the largest employer in the Limousin region—and a university that educates more than 16,000 students. To the north, the ESTER technology park spans 210 hectares and is home to companies in the technical ceramics, electronics, photonics, and water sectors, along with a business incubator and the French Tech Limousin community—a valuable resource for early-stage startups.

Designated a UNESCO Creative City in 2017 for its ceramic arts, the city remains synonymous with porcelain. The European Ceramics Cluster, based in Limoges, brings together more than 200 members, and the Adrien Dubouché National Museum, dedicated to porcelain, is located right on Winston Churchill Square.

A city that’s easy to get to

Paris-Austerlitz is about 3 hours and 30 minutes away by direct Intercités train, and the A20, which is toll-free from Vierzon to Brive, places Limoges on the Paris-Toulouse corridor. From the Bénédictins train station, buses 6 and 8 serve the square. As for the climate, the Météo-France weather station in Limoges-Bellegarde records an average of just over 1,900 hours of sunshine per year (1991–2020 average).

Frequently Asked Questions

A company falls under the jurisdiction of the court registry responsible for the address of its registered office—in this case, the one in the city center. Specifically, this is the registry of the Limoges Commercial Court: Since January 1, 2025, the local commercial court has borne this name as part of a national pilot program scheduled to run through the end of 2028. It is located in the judicial complex, on the same square as the center. The application itself is filed online through the one-stop shop for business formalities, along with your registered office agreement. This agreement is in writing, valid for at least three months (renewable), and includes the reference numbers for the center’s prefectural approval.

On-site, by reservation. The center rents out offices by the half-day starting at €60 (excluding tax), as well as three meeting rooms starting at €90 (excluding tax) per half-day; the largest can accommodate up to 28 people in a conference-style setup. A coffee break can be arranged for your guests, and BURO Cluber’s members receive a 10% discount on room rentals.

With the incoming mail service, our team receives your mail and forwards it to you; postage is billed to you at a rate increased by 30%. If you prefer to read everything remotely, the second plan involves scanning your mail. In both cases, payment is made by direct debit.
